Legal Aid Clinic – School of Law, Jagran Lake city University in Collaboration with Georgetown University Law Center, Washington D.C.

ABOUT SCHOOL OF LAW:

Ambitions define a man’s future whereas education designs his pathwa  towards it. At JLU School of Law, we are committed to provide world clas legal education to our students, moulding them into steadfast legal professionals and equipping them with skills to meet the modern challenges of the legal profession.

METHODOLOGY OF THE WORKSHOP:

The hallmark of Street Law for both law students and the learners they teach is its methodology of highly participatory, interactive, and engaging instruction. Learning is accomplished largely through the cognitive, expressive and reflective work of the learners themselves in substantively rich, thoughtfully structured lessons. This methodology draws from both the hands-on models of clinical legal education and experiential learning as well as the best practices for teaching and learning generally. This student-centered approach to teaching and learning is well suited both for the law students and for the learners they teach, from high school students to adults. The workshop will include several activities such as mock trials, role plays, case studies and witness examination.
