About the conference:

The Conference aims at bringing together academicians, research scholars,
professionals/students from any stream, with a keen interest in multidisciplinary research. The main objective of this conference is to stimulate research and to discuss the various issues concerning media trials and the administration of justice which eventually will help in career as well as the personal growth of the participants. Deliberations are invited on themes such as Media Trial & Right to Freedom of Speech & Expression, Freedom of Press, Fair Investigation, Public Opinion, Judicial Conflicts and Media etc.

Media trial including both mainstream media and social media has become quite controversial, as on one hand, it provides the platform to get justice for the victims but, on the other hand, it perpetuates evils in the society. Justice in such a scenario has become a discursive term because in order to maintain peace in the society the significance of the administration of
justice cannot be overlooked. Keeping the same in view, the present conference will focus on the concept of crime, justice, liberty, equality of freedom of speech and expression in the era when media has become a challenge and threat to justice.

BCL feels privileged to extend a cordial invitation to all the respected faculty members to participate in the above Conference by sending their unpublished research paper.
