Scopus Call for Papers: CALL for VARIA PAPERS (non-focus articles) of the CEPS Journal

We invite authors interested in the publication of their papers in the VARIA section (non-focus articles) of the CEPS Journal to submit papers for consideration.

The VARIA section is included in each issue number of the CEPS Journal and features papers addressing a topic that is not connected with the focus section of the specific issue.

The topics of papers in the VARIA section are related to the field of Teacher Education and Educational Sciences. The journal focuses on the following areas: teaching, learning, education, social pedagogy, special and rehabilitation pedagogy, preschool pedagogy, education policies, supervision, teaching Slovenian and foreign languages and literature, teaching mathematics, computer science, science and technology, teaching social sciences and humanities, arts teaching, higher education and adult education. Particular emphasis is placed on teacher education and promoting their professional development.

Manuscripts are initially reviewed by the editor in chief and the peer review managing editor, and only those meeting the aims and scope of the journal will be sent for blind review. Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two referees. All manuscripts are reviewed as rapidly as possible, but the review process usually takes at least three months.

VARIA papers are first published online as Recently Accepted Papers. These are thoroughly reviewed, revised, edited and proofread papers that have not yet been assigned to an issue (and consequently have neither a Volume nor an Issue Number). Publication of Recently Accepted Papers allows readers to access accepted peer-reviewed article manuscripts long before they are published in an issue. The articles are available until replaced by their final copyedited and proofread versions and are tagged with a DOI that will carry through to their final versions, making it easy to cite them in research.

There is no specific deadline for submitting VARIA papers.

Manuscripts should be from 5,000 to 7,000 words long, including the abstract and the reference list. They should be written in UK or US English. Submissions should be no more than 20 pages in length, and should be original and unpublished work not currently under review by another journal or publisher.

When preparing the manuscript, please follow our author guidelines, which are available here: https://www.cepsj.si/index.php/cepsj/about/submissions.
