About the Organisation
The Center for Human Security Studies – CHSS is a non-governmental, non-political and non-profit mobile Human Security Think Tank focused on Internal Security and External Affairs of India.
Nature of Internship
This is a completely research-based internship. However, this program is not just restricted to only research work but interns are also provided with various lectures by the industrial experts in their specific area.
Field visits are something that help us catch the reality on the ground, therefore it is mandatory for interns to make at least one to complete the internship.
Eligibility
Interested candidates pursuing UG, PG and PhD in Law, Social sciences, Exact Sciences, Humanities, International Relations, Engineering and Medicine can apply.

Who can Apply
CHSS (CoE) on AI is working in collaboration with a few Universities and Think Tanks (India and Global). We are happy to receive applications to work/participate in various initiatives of the CoE in the field of AI for Human Security.
Any interested candidate can apply from any year pursuing Law, Social sciences, Exact Sciences, Humanities, International Relations, Engineering and Medicine can apply.
The proposed CoE on AI for Human Security will cover the following Human and national security areas.
Impact of AI on:
- National security issues such as Homeland security
- International relations
- Cyber security
- Education
- Food security
- Health security
- Water security
- Energy security
- Other social, economic and political spheres.
Perks
- Reasonable stipend will be paid for the work done.
- Eligible candidates will be given an opportunity to work with CoE as Research Interns, Research Associates and Research Fellows (resident and nonresident).
- Selected candidates will also be given office space, stipend, Letter of Recommendations and Certificate of participation.
Duration of the Internship
Interns have to undertake an internship at least for a period of 1 month if interested can continue further.
