News: One-year post graduate law course (LL.M.) to be abolished in India

The new Bar Council of India Legal Education Rules 2020, seeks to abolish One year Master’s Degree in law LL.M. prevailing in India.

The new rules state that the post-graduate course in law leading to a master degree, in short LL.M. has to be of two years comprising of four years. Further LL.M. course is restricted to only graduates of law
