1st International UILS Negotiation Competition for law students- UILS, Panjab University

The Alternative Dispute Resolution Board, UILS, is hosting the International UILS Negotiation Competition to teach emerging attorneys how to negotiate. Negotiation is a skill that requires the ability to observe the opponent and establish an acceptable solution in order to achieve a win-win situation. We at UILS are excited to welcome participants from all over the world and provide them with the opportunity to expand their understanding of alternative dispute resolution while also sharpening their communication skills, which is one of the most crucial qualities of a good lawyer.

1. The competition registration will be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis.

2. There are a total of 36 teams that can compete in this competition. Registrations for the competition will close once the quota of 36 teams has been reached.
3. Using the registration link provided, participants must complete the registration form. Participants will receive an e-mail on their registered e-mail IDs with a payment link to complete the registration procedure after filling out the essential details in the form.

Registration closing date: 25^th October 2021

7^th November 2021:  Submission of Negotiation Plans

10^th November 2021: Training Session and Opening Ceremony

11^th November 2021: Preliminary Round 1

12^th November 2021:  Preliminary Round 2

13^th November 2021:  Octa-Finals and Semi-Finals

14^th November 2021:  Final Round and Closing Ceremony

Criteria for Eligibility
The candidates must be enrolled in a full-time legal degree at the university chosen to compete in the competition on September 1st of the competition year.
