Walk in Interview for position of Social Worker at Special Cell for Women and Children, Mumbai. 

The government of Maharashtra in particular department of health, police and children have collaborated Since 2005 for joint administration of special sense for women and children programme. This programme is implemented through grants in aid to NGOs and Tata Institute of social science. TISS itself implemented 14 out of 123 across the district , As well as coordinates, supervise and provides training for the program personnel through regional coordinator. The special cell for women is an initiative provides training for social services to women survivors of violence, By placing trained social workers within the police system to social workers in the police office, (2 social workers in the police office station house/SP office/CP office), with a clear understanding that violence against women is a crime and it is the responsibility of the state prevent and counter the same.

A total of three social workers preferably having fever direct intervention experience, as required a present for full time work at the special cell of women Mumbai.

Selection preferences

The programs service provision process required that it special cell must have to social workers to respond to violated and women’s on preferences and needs, and no less than one payment/female social workers per cell.
