About NLUO:

The National Law University Odisha (NLUO) was established in the year 2009 under The National Law University Orissa Act, 2008 (Act 4 of 2008) passed by the Odisha State Legislature and commenced its academic activities in the academic year 2009-10.

The University has received recognition from the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 12(B) of the UGC Act, 1956, and has been receiving grants under the XIIth Plan. The degrees offered are recognised by the Bar Council of India. It is also an associate member of the UGC-INFLIBNET, and a participant in the National Knowledge Network under the Ministry of Information Technology and Communication, Government of India.

  • Associate Professor (Law) (07 Post Total: 04 UR, 01 SC, 1 ST,1SEBC), Academic Level 13A with rationalized entry pay of Rs. 1, 31, 400/-), Regular
  • Assistant Professor (Law) ( 08 Post Total: 05 UR, 01 SC, 1 ST,1SEBC), Academic Level 10 with Rationalized Entry Pay of Rs. 57,700/-, Regular

Note:

  1. Filled in application form should be sent to the Registrar, National Law University Odisha with a Demand Draft of Rs. 1,000/- for the posts in S.No. 01 to 07 and Rs. 500/- for the posts in S.No. 8 drawn on any scheduled bank in favour of Registrar, National Law University, Odisha payable at Cuttack.
  2. Reservations (SC, ST, SEBC) for the posts are available only for the candidates who have domicile of Odisha and the Caste certificate needs to be obtained from the competent Authority in the State of Odisha only.
  3. Horizontal Reservation for women and PWD candidates shall be provided as per norms.
  4. The University, at its discretion, may restrict the number of candidates to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualifications/experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement to be called for interview.
  5. Persons in service shall apply only through proper channel.
  6. No TA/DA/Accommodation will be provided for attending the Interview.
