Introduction

We are pleased to announce a call for papers for a themed section in Advances in Dual Diagnosis on ‘Anxiety, trauma, and substance use: Bridging research advances and lived experience perspectives’.

This section aims to explore the latest research, clinical practices, and lived experience perspectives on the assessment, treatment, and management of co-occurring anxiety or trauma-related disorders and substance use.

List of Topic Areas

We invite contributions including original empirical research, reviews, development papers, case studies, and commentaries. We welcome insights that advance understanding of mechanisms underlying co-occurring anxiety or trauma-related disorders and substance use, approaches to supporting this population (e.g. intervention development, implementation, or evaluation), and service-level challenges for comorbidity treatment.
