Soil is the homes that support diverse microbial, flora and faunal communities, unfortunately, have been compromised by various contaminants with heavy metals posing a significant threat to environmental and human health. Heavy metals being the most significant environmental and health risks. Heavy metal pollution arises from multiple sources, impacting animal health, food crop quality, and human well-being through various exposure pathways. The issue is further complicated by emerging concerns such as microplastics and antibiotic resistance, which can interact with heavy metals and exacerbate their effects.
