Background and Rationale

Entrepreneurship, innovation, and leadership are critical drivers of sustainable economic growth, social development, and technological advancement. In an increasingly interconnected global economy, startups and emerging enterprises require not only capital but also strong institutional support, legal clarity, technical guidance, and leadership development. Recognizing this need, the Global Forum for Entrepreneurship, Innovation & Leadership (GFEIL) is envisioned as a dynamic, inclusive, and interdisciplinary platform to nurture entrepreneurial ecosystems across sectors and regions.

The Forum is initiated by Knowledge Steez EduHub LLP, with the objective of creating a structured, credible, and action-oriented body that brings together students, academicians, entrepreneurs, startups, incubation centres, industry experts, and policy stakeholders under one umbrella.

About the Forum

The Global Forum for Entrepreneurship, Innovation & Leadership (GFEIL) is a professional society and collaborative forum dedicated to capacity building, knowledge exchange, and practical support for startups and innovation-led enterprises. The Forum will operate through workshops, conferences, startup forums, and advisory initiatives, focusing on real-world challenges faced by entrepreneurs and innovators.

Aim of the Forum

The primary aim of GFEIL is to promote entrepreneurship, foster innovation, and develop ethical and effective leadership by providing capacity-building opportunities, institutional support, and interdisciplinary collaboration at national and international levels.

Objectives

The key objectives of the Forum are:

  • To build entrepreneurial and leadership capacity through structured training, workshops, and mentorship programmes.
  • To organize national and international capacity-building workshops for startups, aspiring entrepreneurs, and young innovators.
  • To conduct conferences, conclaves, and symposiums on entrepreneurship, innovation, leadership, technology, and policy.
  • To provide legal, regulatory, and technical assistance to startups, including guidance on compliance, intellectual property, data protection, contracts, and technology adoption.
  • To facilitate the formation of a Startup Forum as a networking and peer-learning platform for founders, incubators, and investors.
  • To encourage collaboration between academia, industry, startups, and incubation centres.
  • To support student-led entrepreneurship and innovation through exposure, mentorship, and institutional linkages.
  • To promote ethical, inclusive, and sustainable entrepreneurial practices.

Key Activities

GFEIL will undertake the following activities:

  • Capacity-building workshops and bootcamps for startups and early-stage entrepreneurs
  • National and international conferences and policy dialogues
  • Startup forums, pitch sessions, and networking meets
  • Legal and technical advisory support for startups
  • Leadership development and innovation training programmes
  • Collaborative initiatives with universities, incubation centres, industry bodies, and think tanks

Governance and Structure

The governing body and office bearers of the Forum shall be selected through a democratic election process.

The elected body shall hold office for a term of three (3) years.

The governance structure shall ensure transparency, inclusivity, accountability, and representation from diverse stakeholder groups including academia, industry, and startups.

Membership

The Forum shall have an open and inclusive membership structure. The following categories are eligible for membership:

  1. Students
  2. Academicians and researchers for Entrepreneurship and interconnected disciplines.
  3. Entrepreneurs and startup founders
  4. Early-stage and growth-stage startups
  5. Incubation centres and innovation hubs
  6. Industry professionals and experts

Expected Outcomes

  • Strengthened startup and innovation ecosystem
