About the TNNLU & The Centre
The Tamil Nadu National Law University (TNNLU), Tiruchirappalli located in Srirangam Taluk of the Tiruchirappalli District, was established by the Government of Tamil Nadu in 2012 to provide quality legal education. It offers two five years integrated Undergraduate programs, B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) & B.Com. LL.B. (Hons.) and One Year LL.M. programs in Corporate and Securities Laws, Intellectual Property Laws and Natural Resources Law. TNNLU also offers Ph.D. programs in Law and Interdisciplinary perspectives since 2021. The University Grants Commission (UGC) has recognized and approved TNNLU under Section 2(f) and under Section 12B of the UGC Act, 1956. TNNLU is recognized by the Bar Council of India (BCI).

Call for Papers
Contributions in the form of research papers are requested from students, research scholars, academics, and lawyers across India on the following themes and related research that might fall outside the ambit of the themes.

Themes
 Nationalist response to the colonial laws
 Intellectual engagements of the legal professionals
 Nationalism and the making of modern laws in India
 Participation of the legal professionals in the Indian freedom struggle
 Contribution of lesser-known legal professionals to the Indian freedom struggle

Incentives:

1. Certificate (soft-copy) will be issued for all the observers/participants/presenters.
2. No fee will be charged for the selected papers for publication.
3. Publication will be carried out under the University/Centre’s name.
4. Publication of the selected papers in an edited volume with ISBN number.
5. The conference proceedings will be sent to the contributors through post.
