Scope of the Book

This study investigates the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in language education, focusing on enhancing communication skills and language proficiency in an AI-enhanced world. It aims to examine the intersection of language education and AI technology, explore AI-driven tools and techniques, and investigate AI’s role in vocabulary, grammar, speech recognition, listening, reading, writing, and pronunciation enhancement. Additionally, it analyses personalized language learning through AI tools and adaptive systems, discusses AI-mediated real-time conversation and cross-cultural communication, evaluates AI-based assessment and feedback methods, and foresees the future implications of AI on language education. By achieving these objectives, the study seeks to provide insights into effective AI integration and inform evidencebased practices. Ultimately, this research aims to guide educators, policymakers, and developers in harnessing AI’s potential to improve language learning outcomes, enhancing the quality, accessibility, and efficiency of language education in an increasingly AI-driven world.
