Call for Papers: Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence in Trade & Environment, Submission Deadline- 21 March 2025
Funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, The Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence in Trade & Environment (CoE T&E) is offering a grant, awarded on a competitive basis, for research papers exploring the linkages between trade and environment. Grantees will receive a payment of up to AUD 7,500. The winning papers will be officially announced through the Institute for International Trade’s (IIT) dissemination channels and posted to the COE’s website.
Submissions
Email submissions to [email protected] Proposals, not exceeding 800 words and containing a brief abstract, should adhere to the following guidelines:
1. The proposal should be a separate attachment in PDF format.
2. Separate CV(s) of the proposed author(s) must be provided and include
(i) current affiliation(s),
(ii) where relevant the academic institution awarding the PhD,
(iii) where relevant the year (or the expected year) of the PhD. 3. A separate supporting letter from a supervisor or senior colleague must be provided.

- • Paper selection and notification of awards: 28 March 2025
- • Finalisation of awardee contracts: 11 April 2025
- • First drafts due: 18 July 2025
- • Comments received: 15 August 2025
- • Final drafts due: 10 October 2025
- • Papers published on IIT website: 24 October 2025
