ABOUT THE COURSE
This Advanced Single Credit Course on Trade Remedies Under the WTO provides a thorough analysis of legal, economic, and policy matters of trade remedies. Designed for international trade law students, the course deals with both the abstract concepts and day-to-day application of anti-dumping duty, countervailing duty, and safeguard action. The participants will understand the process under which these actions are examined, imposed, and challenged within the context of international trade litigation. Special focus will be placed on India’s trade remedy system to enable comparative study with experience in the United States, the European Union, and China
