Call for paper: Primary immunodeficiency disorders

Primary immunodeficiency disorders

Representing a group of over 450 rare inherited conditions, Primary Immunodeficiency Disorders (PIDs) are typically characterised by increased susceptibility to infections and dysregulation of the immune system. While the development and application of genetic panels has significantly advanced the identification and diagnosis of PIDs, our understanding of the underlying immunogenetics and pathogenesis remains limited. In particular, laboratory and clinical research in this field may focus on advances in diagnosis and treatment, characterisation of clinical phenotypes, PID pathogenesis, and investigations into undefined PIDs.
