Requirements:
- at least good knowledge of constitutional law, especially Italian constitutional law;
- at least good knowledge of competition law (antitrust law), especially Italian competition law;
- knowledge of substantive EU economic law;
- experience in collecting and analyzing scientific literature, case-law, and administrative decisions;
- availability to conduct research for the project during the day (on weekdays);
- knowledge of the Italian language;
- excellent command of the English language;
- good knowledge of another EU member state’s language is preferred.
Job Description:
- selection and collection of constitutions from selected countries;
- legal analysis of constitutions of selected countries;
- legal analysis of competition law statutes in selected countries;
- analysis of EU primary law;
- gathering literature and preliminary analysis of selected texts;
- preparation of a report presenting findings on the topics above;
- preliminary selection of judicial rulings (in particular, rulings of the Italian Constitutional Court and Consiglio di Stato) and relevant administrative decisions of competition authorities, which will be analyzed in the project;
- preparation of a database containing relevant case law;
- systematic coding of collected case law and collaboration in drawing conclusions from the research in the form of a report;
- research participation in a detailed analysis of key cases (case studies) and contributing to drawing conclusions from the research in the form of a report;
- assistance in preparing and conducting in-depth interviews in Italy and analyzing their results;
- participation in the development of research results and the preparation of the report.

Employment conditions:
- scientific scholarship or doctoral scholarship of up to 5,000.00 PLN gross for a period up to 48 months, i.e. during the period of completing four-year studies at the Doctoral School of Social Sciences at the University of Warsaw.
- a friendly and intellectually stimulating work environment;
- conducting research at the Centre for Antitrust and Regulatory Studies at WZ UW; opportunity to use its scientific resources;
- the scholarship is granted in accordance with the rules set out in the NCN Scholarship Regulations for Research Projects financed by the National Science Centre, introduced by Resolution No. 124/2022 of the NCN Council dated December 1, 2022.
