Since 1973, the Indian Journal of Criminology has been dedicated to the advancement of scholarly research, discourse, and examination pertaining to various facets of criminology in India. Being UGC-CARE Group-I listing enhances the journal’s credibility and visibility within the academic community. The journal serves as a platform for intellectuals, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to exchange their insights and discoveries concerning subjects such as crime patterns, criminal conduct, criminal justice systems, and social policies in relation to crime and delinquency. IJC promotes scholarship that integrates both theoretical and practical approaches, encompassing articles, assessments, theoretical deliberations, case studies, and book evaluations. IJC caters to a diverse readership, including scholars, researchers, students, policymakers, and professionals actively engaged in the realm of criminology and criminal justice.
SUBMISSION POLICIES
- Indian Journal of Criminology accepts submissions throughout the year..
- All submissions are required to be addressed to the Editor, Indian Journal of Criminology email: indianjournalofcriminology@gmail.com
- All submissions must be accompanied by a cover letter that includes the Author’s Name, Institutional Affiliation, and the Paper’s Topic. In the case of co-authored papers, detailed information about both authors must be provided.
- A declaration to the effect that the manuscript is the author’s original work has not received prior publication and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. (attachment)
