CALL FOR PAPERS: HPNLU JOURNAL OF ENVIRONMENT AND DISASTER MANAGEMENT, Volume 5: 2025 Issue

HPNLU Journal of Environment and Disaster Management (JEDM) is a peer-reviewed online publication, owned and managed by Himachal Pradesh National Law University (HPNLU), Shimla. Since its inaugural volume in 2020, the journal has served as a platform for academicians, researchers, lawyers and students to pen down their scholarly articles on contemporary environmental legal issues. JEDM aspires to become a leading source of academic insight into contemporary environmental issues, and coming up with solution to the various emerging environmental problems. In addition to identifying pressing legal challenges, JEDM is dedicated to proposing practical and constructive solutions.
Submission Guidelines:
• Word Limit: 4,000 to 6,000 words (including footnotes)
• Co-authorship of up to two authors is allowed.
• Format: Times New Roman, 12 point, 1.5 spacing, justified alignment
• Citation Style: ‘HPNLU mode of Citation’ (available in the university website).

• The author is required to submit an undertaking about the originality of the research paper, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.
• Contributor shall submit a plagiarism report (of turnitin) and it should not exceed not exceed 10% of plagiarism.
• The acceptance/rejection/any changes or revision if required of the article will be informed to the author by 12th October, 2025 after a thorough review process.
