Hybrid Mode
Organized by- Vignan Institute of Law
About Conference
Access to justice stands as a fundamental pillar of democratic societies and is enshrined in the Indian Constitution under Articles 14, 21, 22(1), and 39A, which mandate equal justice and free legal aid for all citizens, particularly the marginalized sections of society. Despite significant progress through the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987, and the establishment of the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) and State Legal Services Authorities, substantial challenges persist in ensuring equitable access to justice for India’s diverse population.
Target Audience
The conference aims to target key stakeholders like academics, lawyers, representatives of non-profit organisations, rights-advocacy groups, scholars, bureaucrats and students
