Aims & Scope

Journal of Language and Education (JLE) is a high-quality open access peer-reviewed international journal published quarterly by the National Research University Higher School of Economics, Russia. JLE provides a platform for researchers, academicians, professionals, and practitioners to impart and share knowledge in the form of high quality empirical and theoretical research papers, pilot studies, opinion papers and reviews (scoping / systematical reviews, meta-analysis and book reviews).

The Education section coverage include such topics as changing universities and their missions, university graduates’ employability skills, soft skills, education reframing, innovative models of teaching and progressive learning technologies (flipped class, mixed learning, deep active learning, etc.), virtual education and MOOCs, gamification and game-based curricula, redefining of quality of tertiary education and international rankings, mobility and autonomy in higher education.
