Call for Papers: LCEL Early Career Scholars Workshop, 12 – 13 June 2026, Submit by 19 January 2026
The Luxembourg Centre for European Law is pleased to announce a workshop dedicated to early career scholars in European law. This includes primarily European Union Law but extends also to the European Convention of Human Rights, comparative law and international law issues of relevance to Europe, and the history of European laws. This initiative reflects our deep commitment to supporting emerging voices in the field and support in the advancement of their research. Early career researchers are essential to the renewal and advancement of legal scholarship, which is at the core of the LCEL’s mission.
We are looking for promising perspectives that may open new avenues for inquiry, and we welcome both interdisciplinary and legal dogmatic approaches. In providing a platform for such contributions, we aim at fostering exchanges between scholars from different institutional and geographic backgrounds.
We welcome submissions on any topic within the broad field of European law, as defined above. We are especially interested in hearing from scholars whose work may not yet have had the opportunity to reach wider audiences, including those coming from academic institutions or regions underrepresented in international contexts.
