The Journal of International Law, Politics and Society (JILPS) [ISSN: 3108-0464] is an open-access, double-blind peer-reviewed academic journal committed to fostering critical legal scholarship at the intersection of international law, global politics, and societal development. The journal provides an inclusive platform for scholars, practitioners, students, and interdisciplinary researchers to publish high-quality, original work that contributes meaningfully to contemporary legal and socio-political discourse. Our mission is to advance scholarly engagement and disseminate impactful research that informs law, policy, and global practice.

JILPS accepts manuscripts addressing a broad spectrum of contemporary legal and interdisciplinary themes, including but not limited to:

We strongly encourage submissions that are interdisciplinary in nature and engage with doctrinal, empirical, or theoretical approaches.
Submission Categories
Authors may submit original, unpublished work under the following categories:

Long Articles: 5,000–8,000 words (inclusive of footnotes)

Short Articles: 2,500–5,000 words (inclusive of footnotes)
-
Case Comments: 1,000–2,000 words (inclusive of footnotes)
-
Book Reviews: 1,500–2,500 words (inclusive of footnotes)
Note: All submissions must be accompanied by an abstract of not more than 250 – 300 words. While authors are encouraged to adhere to the specified word limits, exceptional submissions that exceed these limits may be considered at the discretion of the Editorial Board.
Submission Guidelines

All manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under concurrent consideration by any other journal.

Each manuscript must be accompanied by a cover letter containing the following details:

Full name(s) of author(s)

Institutional affiliation

Title of the manuscript
-
Contact email and mobile number
-

The manuscript itself must not contain any author-identifying information to ensure an impartial peer-review process.

Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format only. PDF submissions will not be accepted.

Text should be typed in Times New Roman, font size 12, with 1.5 line spacing. Footnotes must be in Times New Roman, font size 10, with single spacing.

Citation must conform to The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (20th Edition) or OSCOLA referencing style.
-
Submissions may have up to three co-authors.
-
All headings must follow consistent formatting and hierarchy.

The Editorial Board will review the manuscript and communicate acceptance or rejection within 3–5 working days. Please note that no separate acknowledgement email will be sent upon submission.
Publication Timeline
JILPS follows a rolling submissions model. Submissions are reviewed and processed continuously throughout the year.

- For Other Countries: $30
