This international conference seeks to provide a platform for jurists, scholars, policymakers, civil society actors and students to deliberate on the evolving principles of Indian constitutionalism in comparative global perspective. It aims to explore how constitutional courts across jurisdictions interpret living constitutions, protect fundamental rights, respond to populism, and address crises of governance. Special emphasis will be placed on examining India’s constitutional journey in light of global trends, including rising constitutional pluralism, transformative constitutionalism, and the resurgence of debates on basic structure and constitutional identity.
