The Centre for Criminal Law, Criminology and Victimology (CCLCV) at the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (WBNUJS), in association with the Centre for Studies & Research in Forensic Science (CSRFS), is pleased to invite academicians, legal professionals, judicial officers, prosecutors, investigators, forensic experts, research scholars, and students across various disciplines, to participate in a Seven-Day Advanced Course on the New Criminal Laws
About Advanced Course on New Criminal Laws
The course begins with an introduction to BNS, BNSS, and BSA, highlighting their historical background, legislative intent, objectives, and key departures from the previous legal framework. Participants will gain insight into substantive offences and procedural reforms, including newly introduced offences, revised punishment structures, defined trial timelines, and the expanded scope of summary trials for minor offences to reduce pendency.

Mode of Classes
