About the Competition

The School of Agricultural Law and Economics (SALE), RGNUL, Punjab, in collaboration with Dhir & Dhir Associates, is pleased to announce the 5th National Essay Writing Competition. The competition aims to foster critical legal scholarship on emerging regulatory challenges posed by technological advancement, digital markets, ESG frameworks, sustainable finance, and the evolving contours of the global economy. It encourages participants to engage analytically with contemporary legal, economic, and policy concerns, bridging academic discourse with real-world regulatory practice.

Theme

“Regulating the New Economy: Challenges in the Age of Technology and Sustainability.”

Eligibility

The competition is open to students, researchers, academicians, and professionals across disciplines, and seeks original, well-researched, and policy-oriented submissions.

Word Limit

3,000 – 5,000 words (exclusive of abstract and footnotes)

Colloquium: Top 10 selected authors will present their papers at a colloquium organised by SALE (tentatively in March 2026).
