About Collection of Views

Vide the All India Judges Association and others v. Union of India and others dt. 20.05.2025, the Hon’ble Supreme Court introduced a mandatory condition of three years’ practice at the bar, for eligibility to appear in the competitive examinations for judiciary. In light of a writ petition filed by specially-abled candidates, requesting for exemption from the 3-year-rule, the Hon’ble Supreme Court is of the view that the eligibility condition must be uniform for candidates of all categories. The Hon’ble Supreme Court has therefore invited Law Universities to send their suggestions.

Pursuant to this, the Centre for Advanced Study in International Humanitarian Law (CASH), RGNUL is inviting comments from the various stakeholders, to be shared with the Supreme Court. Kindly fill out the form accurately, in order to participate in this exercise.
