CALL FOR PAPERS: 6TH ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL MIGRATION CONFERENCE 2026, 6 & 7 August, 2026
On the theme- Climate-Induced Migration: Global Challenges, Transnational Dynamics, and Policy Response
Organized By- THE INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE OF MIGRATION AND DEVELOPMENT (IIMAD), KERALA & INSTITUTE FOR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CHANGE, BANGALORE
Venue- Institute for Social and Economic Change, Bangalore
About the Conference
Climate change is increasingly reshaping patterns of human mobility across the world. Rising sea levels, extreme weather events, and environmental degradation are not only triggering internal displacement but are also intensifying cross-border migration flows. In this context, migration must be understood both as a crisis response and as a potential adaptive strategy. The conference aims to examine these dynamics while situating them within broader questions of inequality, governance, and development.
