Applications are now open for the Women in Conflict 1325 Fellowship programme from 20th-25th July 2026 on ‘women’s meaningful participation in peacebuilding’!

The July Programme

The July programme will focus on ‘women’s meaningful participation in peacebuilding‘. The week-long residential programme will include sessions and experiences on various topics, as well as an opportunity to develop connections and solidarity amongst the cohort. There will be some online sessions both pre- and post-residential Fellowship to expand the learning and facilitate sessions delivered by the global Fellowship Alumnae.

As well as completing the form, you will be asked to upload PDFs of:

  •  your most up-to-date CV;
  • a reference letter for the Fellowship;
  • and a copy of your passport

The deadline for applications is 20th May 2026. The BBS and ELS teams reserve the right to close applications early in the case of an overwhelming number of applications.

Eligibility

The teams at BBS and ELS believe that a diverse range of perspectives and experiences strengthen peacebuilding efforts for all and welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds. Those with accessibility needs are especially encouraged to apply.

The programme is open to women from conflict-affected countries working to promote peacebuilding and/ or women’s rights and relevant/ adjacent fields. Those with an arts background are also encouraged to apply.
