Call for Papers: ReCIPE Annual Conference 2027, 17-18 March 2027 in Oxford, United Kingdom
ReCIPE invites applications to present at the third Annual Conference on Reducing Conflict and Improving Performance in the Economy on 17-18 March 2027 in Oxford, United Kingdom.
We strongly encourage applications from researchers interested in presenting to the broad ReCIPE community.
We are seeking to host the same format as previous conferences with two days of plenary sessions organised around ReCIPE’s research themes:
- Public policies for peace
- Private and public investments and peace
- Institutions, democracy and peace
- Geoeconomics
- Climate change, natural resources and conflict
- Information and conflict: From the role of (social) media and public opinion to big data and forecasting
- Ethnic diversity and nation-building
- Peacemaking, peacebuilding and reconstruction
- Gender inequality and conflict
Papers that combine empirical evidence with actionable policy prescriptions relevant to low-income countries, especially ReCIPE priority countries, are particularly encouraged.
Submissions that include evidence beyond an abstract (such as a full paper draft, slide deck or other written product) typically receive extra weight by reviewers.
Applicants are encouraged to make use of their own funding where possible, as travel support may be limited and prioritised for those with demonstrated need.
Instructions on how to apply for the conference via the CEPR HUB can be found below.
The call for papers deadline is 15 July 2026 (23:59 CEST).
