About LEGAL AID AWARDS 2026

Knowledge Steez is immensely honoured to introduce the ‘Legal Aid Awards 2026.’ This prestigious event marks the fifth occasion in India where exceptional recognition will be bestowed upon Law colleges and Universities by Knowledge Steez, acknowledging their noteworthy contribution to society. The organizers are set to confer distinction upon the top 10 law schools, universities, colleges during the upcoming conference in Delhi.

Application Procedure

• Send entries by filling this form: Nomination form for 6th Legal Aid Award
• Entries must encompass activities carried out during the last year, from January 1^st, 2025 to December 31^st, 2025.
• Submissions should be accompanied by supporting documents, including photographs of camps or clinics conducted by the Legal Aid center, copies of registered complaints along with the provided solutions, or any relevant documentation that bolsters the event organized by the University/Colleges.

Evaluation Criteria

• Legal Aid Clinics: 05 marks for inside clinics and 10 marks for outside clinics per event.
• Legal Awareness Camps: 10 marks each.
• Conference on Legal Aid / Human Rights / Social Justice: 20 marks for international conferences and 10 marks for national conferences.

Note: The evaluation process is subject to the discretion of the Knowledge Steez award committee. Adhere to the provided guidelines and deadlines to ensure a successful application.

The award will include

• Free Conference Pass to the Co-ordinator/ Chair of the Legal Aid committee or centre at 15^th International Conference on Human Rights, 13^th September, 2026 in physical mode at Indian Law Institute (ILI), New Delhi.
• Memento and Certificate
• Opportunity to speak on behalf of your college/ university at the International Conference of Knowledge Steez 2026

Rules & Regulations

• Your University/college must be recognized by the Bar Council of India.
• Incomplete or erroneous information will not be considered.
• All award-related decisions are at the sole discretion of Knowledge Steez, and no legal action can be initiated against Knowledge Steez and its partners.
• Attendance at the Conference in person is mandatory to receive the award. For this purpose, the college can nominate the legal aid center coordinator, chair or authorized representative.
