About the Event

The DME Legal Aid Cell, in collaboration with the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Gautam Budh Nagar, invites law students, legal practitioners, and academics to Jan Nyaya Mohatsav 2026.

Grounded in the theme “Beyond Codes: Human Rights of Labourers, Eco-Compliance, & Access to Justice for Victims,” this two-day national fest aims to bridge the gap between legal theory and ground realities. The event critically examines India’s new Labour Codes, explores the intersection of environmental compliance and worker safety (Just Transition), and addresses structural barriers to legal aid.
