Admission Open: European Master in Law and Economics (EMLE), academic year 2027/2028, Apply Now

The application deadline is 31 December 2026 for Non-European applicants and 15 January 2027 for European applicants. The link to the application form can be found HERE.

You can find all updated information regarding the application and admission process, as well as the selection criteria, on THIS PAGE.

We particularly, though not exclusively, welcome applications from excellent students from Sub-Saharan Africa (EU Targeted Region 9) and Western Balkan countries (IPA III: Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo). Eligible candidates should have a strong background in Law and/or Economics and preferably hold a first Master’s degree. For these regions, targeted scholarships are available for talented candidates who express their interest in studying the Economic Analysis of Law and can provide proof of English proficiency in time for admission. We also warmly encourage students with special needs to apply.

Notice: Barcelona (UPF) – First Term Availability

Please note that, while we consider it highly likely that Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) will be available as a first-term destination for the 2027–2028 intake, formal confirmation is still pending at the opening of applications.

We therefore recommend that applicants interested in Barcelona as a first-term choice remain aware that, although unlikely, changes to its availability cannot be fully excluded at this stage. We will update this notice and inform affected applicants directly as soon as further clarity is available.
