ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY
Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyalaya originated from the vision of Bhagat Phool Singh Ji, who established a Gurukul for girls at Khanpur Kalan in 1936. This noble initiative was nurtured by his daughter Subhashini Devi. The Gurukul was upgraded to University in Aug 2006 by Govt. of Haryana. It is the First State Women University in North India dedicated to women education. Today, BPSMV empowers over 7,000 women students across Engineering, Management, Law, Education, Sciences and Ayurveda with focus on academic excellence, empowerment and rural upliftment.
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
Department of Management Studies was established in 2008 as the First State Govt. Management Institute exclusively for women in North India. The department offers BBA, MBA (General), BBA Industry Integrated and Ph.D. programs. DMS emphasizes academic excellence, ethical values, leadership and entrepreneurial mindset through industry interface, research, and skill-based curriculum aligned with NEP 2020.
