Date:                May 21–23, 2027
Location:        National University of Singapore, Singapore

The APRU Sustainable Cities and Landscapes (SCL) Conference will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2027. Hosted by the Department of Architecture at the National University of Singapore, the conference will take place in Singapore from May 21 to 23, 2027.

With the theme of Bridging Resilience(s), the APRU-SCL 2027 conference will explore how diverse forms of knowledge and practice can connect and converge to advance social, cultural, and environmental resilience in cities and communities.

It will also examine how bridging itself—the capacity to network, organize, co-create, and forge connections—can serve as a form of resilience in the face of crisis and disruption. Singapore, with its unique institutional structure and the challenges associated with high density and resource scarcity, provides a setting for this discussion.

We welcome submissions of papers, posters, and panel proposals that examine critical issues and emerging strategies for urban and environmental resilience across the Pacific Rim. Contributions may engage with these topics through transdisciplinary collaboration, comparative studies, and cross-cultural investigation.
