ABOUT NYAYA SAMVARDHAN
The Pro Bono Club at NFSU Delhi Campus, is hosting the North-Western Region
Pro Bono Conclave – Nyaya Samvardhan (Enhancement and Promotion of
Justice). Nyaya Samvardhan symbolizes the collective endeavour to strengthen
and expand the culture of justice, ensuring that access to legal aid and social
responsibility are not just ideals but lived realities. The conclave is envisioned as
a platform to bring together Pro Bono Associates from all recognized colleges and
universities, with the objective of advancing our shared commitment to delivering
effective legal aid and creating a positive societal impact. Further, it seeks to
strengthen and empower Pro Bono Clubs functioning under the Designing
Innovative Solutions and Holistic Access to Justice (DISHA) Scheme, enabling
them to enhance their initiatives and actively contribute to future activities.
COMPETITIONS
MEDIATRIX- A dynamic test of negotiation skills where participants
resolve disputes through diplomacy, empathy, and
structured dialogue, mastering the art of legal
conciliation.
CINEMANIA- A platform for creative minds to explore and express
their visions through innovative storytelling through the
lens of the short film/cinema.
RATIOCINA- A digital space to apply their legal knowledge to real
life scenarios and craft structured judgments upholding
the spirit of justice through thoughtful decision making.
LEX COMMUNIS- A competitive exercise in persuasive advocacy, where
participants address real-world legal dilemmas,
demonstrating strategic problem-solving, effective client
engagement.
BEST PRACTICES- The Conclave will continue its tradition of showcasing
the Best Practices of Pro Bono Clubs through structured
presentations, highlighting their key initiatives,
innovative approaches, and impact-driven activities.
TEAM COMPOSITION
Pro Bono Club and Legal Aid Assistance Cell of each law school can send a
maximum of two teams with five members in each team. Students pursuing either a
5-year integrated course or 3-year LL.B. degree from any Law
School/College/University recognised by the Bar Council of India and is located in
the northern or western region of India are eligible to participate. Team members
must be bona fide students of the institution which they are representing. Each team
may be accompanied with the Nodal Officer or a Faculty member.
