Call for Applications: for The Duke Global Policy (DGP) Program in Geneva, une 22 – June 26, 2026

The Duke Global Policy (DGP) Program in Geneva is a dynamic academic and professional development experience with readings, lectures, and an intensive course-week in Geneva designed to reshape how graduate and professional students, as well as early career professionals, from around the world tackle the world’s most pressing policy challenges.

Come join us for a transformative week taking place June 22 – June 26, 2026!

Graduate students, early career professionals and select undergraduates are welcome to apply.

Participants have the opportunity to earn two academic credits from Duke University if they elect to complete the credit-earning option with course assignments prior to, during, and after the intensive course week in Geneva.

Note: Duke University does not allow its undergraduate students to participate in this graduate-level program.  Duke undergraduate students who will graduate before the start of the program may participate.

Intensive Course Week

Track options:

  1. Global Health
  2. Humanitarian Crises, Refugees, and Human Rights
  3. International Trade Policy 

Students learn how international and non-governmental organizations in Geneva are addressing today’s global challenges.

During the week, students meet with practitioners, visit Geneva-based IGOs and NGOs, attend networking events, gain professional coaching, join group case simulations, and write a policy memo. This rigorous week shapes students’ professional and personal ambitions.

Completion of all course assignments—including work prior to, during, and after the intensive course week in Geneva—will enable a participant to earn 2.0 credits through the Duke University Sanford School of Public Policy.
