At Helmut Schmidt University / University of the Federal Armed Forces Hamburg (HSU/UniBw H), Faculty of of Humanities and Social Sciences, Chair of Educational Science with a Focus on Intercultural and Comparative Education Research (Univ.-Prof. Dr. Szakács-Behling), a position is available from the next possible date for a Research Assistant
Responsibilities:
• Performing research tasks in the research area and in research projects of the professorship
• Participation in the acquisition of third-party funding and publications of the professorship
• Participation in the international networking of the professorship (e.g. through active participation in conferences and other transfer activities)
• Assistance in teaching to the extent of basically 2,0 trimester hours per week, including participation in the supervision of student seminar papers and theses
• Possibility of further academic qualification (e.g. doctorate or habilitation)
• Carrying out general administrative work as well as academic activities in academic self-administration
Qualification requirements:
• A with “very good” completed university degree [Diplom (univ.) or Master] in the field of educational science or in other disciplines with clear links to comparative and/or intercultural educational research, e.g. (educational) sociology or political science
