CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: FOR UNIDROIT SCHOLARSHIP, INTERNSHIP AND RESEARCH PROGRAMME, Deadline to apply: 26 October 2025

The UNIDROIT Scholarship, Internship and Research Programme is comprised of several different initiatives that facilitate opportunities for legal professionals at various stages of their careers to visit UNIDROIT to work or conduct research.

The UNIDROIT Scholarship, Internship and Research Programme has six current initiatives:

1. Scholarship and Research
2. Internships
3. The Sir Roy Goode Scholarship
4. Secondments
5. Cooperation with Academic Institutions
6. UNIDROIT Alumni Association

The Sir Roy Goode Scholarship 2026 – Applications due 26 October 2025.

Funding

The successful applicant will be provided with a monthly stipend of 1,500€ per month for 6-9 months, in addition to return economy airfares from their country of residence and health insurance for the duration of their stay in Rome.

The scholarship holder may undertake their scholarship over an 11-month period (February – December 2026), suspending payments during one or more months to be agreed with UNIDROIT.

The scholarship holder should be prepared to work at the Seat of UNIDROIT in Rome for at least 65%of the time of duration of the scholarship.
