Call for Applications: Guest Faculty in School of Legal and Socio-Political Studies (SLPS), Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University Delhi
Applications are invited from the eligible candidates suitable for empanelment for Guest Faculty in School of Legal and Socio-Political Studies (SLPS), Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University Delhi. The panel will be valid for one year, however, validity of panel may be extended till completion of ongoing Semester, if required. The candidates will be engaged for teaching assignments from the panel as per merit list of the panel after assessing the teaching load during the semester to meet the shortfall of teachers in University due to their long leave or due to requirement of additional teachers for introducing a new courses etc.
The candidate will be engaged from the panel in the following categories:
- School Discipline Guest Faculty School of Legal and Socio-Political Studies (SLPS)
- Law or Any Social Science Discipline
Specialization
Law, Crime Studies, Criminology, Political Thought, Indian Politics, Sociology, Law and Economics
Honorarium:
- The Honorarium for Guest Faculty as per entitlement i.e. ₹1500/- per lecture subject to a maximum of ₹50,000/- per month as per UGC norms.
- Guest Faculty will not be treated like regular teachers for the purpose of voting rights or for becoming the members of the various statutory bodies of the University.
- The Guest Faculty will not be given the benefit of allowances, pension, gratuity and leave etc. as admissible to the regular teachers.
