About the Conference
The International Conference on Victim Assistance (ICVA) 2026 is a two-day interdisciplinary conference bringing together the fields of victimology, criminology, psychology, mental health, law, and criminal justice practice. The conference is from 30-31 October 2026 in hybrid mode. This year, ICVA 2026 is jointly organised by the Centre for Victimology & Psychological Studies (CVPS) and the Centre for Community Mental Health (CCMH), Jindal Institute of Behavioural Sciences, O.P. Jindal Global University. The joint organisation is intended to ensure interdisciplinary representation, collaborative planning, and meaningful integration of victim assistance with mental health and justice-oriented practice.
Registration Fees- 590/-
The theme highlights the need to understand victimization not only as a legal or criminological issue, but also as a psychological, social, institutional, and mental health concern. The conference seeks to create a platform for dialogue on victim support systems, trauma-informed interventions, rehabilitation, access to justice, and institutional accountability.
