Call for Papers: 2025 Asian Law Junior Scholars’ Work-in-Progress Workshop, November 7, 2025

We invite all interested scholars to submit a paper to the 2025 Asian Law Junior Scholars’ Workin-Progress Workshop, hosted virtually on Friday, November 7, 2025. Scholars are invited to submit draft papers that concern some aspect of Asian law, including domestic, international, or transnational dimensions. No affiliation with the sponsoring organizations is needed to submit a paper.
We are particularly interested in
(a) submissions from emerging and early career scholars (including junior faculty, visiting assistant professors, post-J.D. or post-doctoral fellows, PhD candidates, etc.),
(b) comparative papers on jurisdictions within the region, or other inter- or intraAsian legal questions, and
(c) papers with a transnational component (e.g., examining interactions between domestic and international law).
