The 2026 Global Forum for Financial Consumers (GFFC), the 13th annual conference of the International Academy of Financial Consumers (IAFICO), will be held at the University of Konstanz on August 2021, 2026, in Konstanz, Germany. The conference theme is “Resilient Financial Consumers in the Digital Age”.
The aim of the GFFC is to provide an engaging forum for international academics, policymakers, and professionals to share knowledge, experiences, and practical solutions related to financial consumer protection. All areas of consumer finance – including banking, insurance, investments, savings, and credit – as well as all geographic regions are of interest.
We welcome submissions of high-quality manuscripts from experts, researchers, scholars, and practitioners on topics including, but not limited to:

• Consumer behaviors and financial wellbeing
• Consumer financial protection and regulations
• Cybersecurity • Digitalization and financial inclusion

Submission deadline: March 15, 2026
Detailed abstracts or full papers, including contact author information, should be submitted by March 15, 2026 to iafico@iafico.org. Acceptance decisions will be announced by April 15, 2026. Accepted manuscripts for which a full paper is submitted by June 15, 2026 will be considered for the 2026 GFFC Best Paper Awards or Travel Scholarships.
