Call for Papers: Annual Conference of the NNHRR Working Group on Human Rights & the Climate Crisis, 6 November 2025

This conference will explore the actual and potential human rights implications of these Advisory Opinions, examining the evolving legal landscape where climate action and human rights law converge. This will have an impact on international law, accountability of States and on domestic legal systems. We invite submissions that critically engage with the Courts’ findings and reflect on their implications for theory, practice, and policy.
Submission Guidelines
Submissions are welcome from scholars, practitioners, and activists across disciplines and career stages. Both NNHRR members and non-members are welcome to submit an abstract. Abstracts should be submitted by 15 September 2025. Participants will be notified about the outcome of the selection process as soon as possible, but at the latest in early October 2025.
