The International Conference on Law and Social Science in the Contemporary World (ICLSCW 2025) is founded on the conviction that the silos separating legal scholarship from the broader social sciences must be dismantled. Law does not operate in a vacuum, it is shaped by and in turn shapes, social, economic, political and technological realities. Similarly, effective social science research must engage with the legal and institutional frameworks that govern human behavior.

This conference serves as a premier global forum to catalyse this essential dialogue. We bring together leading jurists, legal scholars, political scientists, sociologists, economists, anthropologists and policymakers to engage in rigorous, interdisciplinary scholarship.
