Call for Papers: The Rule of Law and the External Action of the European Union, 29th – 30th January 2026

  • (Université Paris 8 Vincennes – Saint-Denis)
  • Co-organized by Prof. Saïda El Boudouhi (Université Paris 8, CRJP8) & Prof. Anne Thies (University of Glasgow, School of Law)

Themes

All contribution proposals will be examined carefully, whether they emanate from academics at all stages of their career or from practitioners directly or indirectly engaged in EU external action. Doctrinal, theoretical and empirical approaches are encouraged, alongside sectorspecific analyses. The objective is to encourage cross-cutting analyses of European Union law and international law. Proposals may take either of these two branches as a starting point, provided that the other is not disregarded in the discussion
