Call for Papers: Young Research Forum on European Legal Studies, 3-4 December 2026
The Osnabrück European Legal Studies Institute is pleased to announce a Call for Papers for the 2026 edition of the Young Research Forum on European Legal Studies, which will be held at Osnabrück University on 3-4 December 2026. The Forum is dedicated to interdisciplinary and legal scholarship focusing on current topics and developments in various fields of law in the European Union. We are currently seeking submissions from PhD students, Postdocs and junior faculty interested in presenting papers at the Forum.
The deadline for submissions is 31 July 2026.
We invite submissions on any topic related to EU law and the interplay between EU law and national law. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
European Private Law European Consumer Law
European Platform Regulation
European Regulation of Artificial Intelligence
European Data and IP Law
Legal History of the European Union
European Administrative Law
European Constitutional Law
A jury of accomplished scholars with expertise in the specific topic will select the papers to be presented. Travel expenses of presenters will be reimbursed up to 500 EUR. For jointly authored submissions travel expenses of one presenter will be covered.
