Call for Submissions: PhD Law Student Conference, 19 September 2025

The School of Law invites submissions for the upcoming Queen’s University Belfast PhD Law Student Conference to be held on Friday 19 September 2025. This annual event offers a collaborative environment for emerging scholars in law to present and discuss their research with fellow doctoral students and academic staff.
Eligibility
Abstracts are welcome from PhD law students (all stages of doctoral studies) along with postdoctoral and early-career researchers. We welcome submissions across all legal disciplines and look forward to engaging with the broad spectrum of scholarly work produced by the PhD law community.
Venue
The conference will take place in person at Queen’s University Belfast with no registration fee. Whilst we actively encourage in-person attendance for enriching networking opportunities, virtual presentations can be facilitated upon request.
How to apply:
• Submissions (max. 300 words) should be submitted by noon on Monday, 4 August 2025 to n.burns@qub.ac.uk, with copy to kmcerlean02@qub.ac.uk and djanikova01@qub.ac.uk
• Please include your full name, email address, year of PhD study, area of law, and name of PhD supervisor in your submission.
• Indicate preferred mode of participation (inperson or online)
•Successful applicants will be notified via email.
