Call for Papers: Paper Development Workshop (PDW), JULY 6 2026, Kyoto University
Corporate Governance: An International Review (CGIR) is pleased to announce a Paper Development Workshop (PDW) in collaboration with Kyoto University. The workshop is open to early-career and established scholars, especially those who have not previously published in CGIR. It will take place at the Graduate School of Management, Kyoto University in Kyoto on Monday July 6th, 2026.
Theme and Objective This PDW focuses on advancing scholarships in stakeholder theory, responsible business, and governance. The 2026 theme is:
“Stakeholder Theory and Responsible Business: The Future of Corporate Governance.”
We welcome conceptual, empirical, and theory-building papers on this theme. The purpose of the workshop is to create an opportunity for scholars to receive developmental feedback on their papers and to provide a venue for networking among governance researchers.
Submission Guidelines
Please submit a complete manuscript via email to cgir2026@mail2.adm.kyoto-u.ac.jp.
Please write the title of your email as “2026 CGIR–Kyoto University Paper Development Workshop.”

• Original & unpublished; not under review elsewhere
• One submission per participant
