About the Internship
Adsum Legal Services is offering internships to law students interested in litigation practice. The internship will involve legal research, case law analysis, preparation of research notes and legal memoranda, and exposure to court proceedings and litigation strategy.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth legal research on diverse and complex questions of law.
- Analyse case law and prepare case briefs, research notes and legal memoranda.
- Undertake drafting assignments based on performance.
- Track recent judgments and legislative updates.
- Gain exposure to court proceedings and litigation strategy.
- Assist the team with clerical and administrative legal tasks, as required.
Eligibility
- Law Students
- Currently enrolled in the third, fourth or fifth year of a five-year integrated law programme.
- Students currently enrolled in the second or third year of a three-year LL.B. programme.
- Strong research and drafting skills, Proficiency in databases – Manupatra and SCC Online.
- An excellent academic record.
- Inclination towards litigation practice and willingness to learn, research and contribute.
- Proficiency in MS Word, strong communication skills and discipline.
- Prior internship experience is preferred not mandatory & understanding of legal concepts.
